Party Games For Hen Weekends

Posted on 24th March 2023

It’s time to get the party started! When it comes to enjoying hen weekends, hen party games are essential to break the ice and guarantee lots of giggles with the girls. So, if you’re looking for some ideas, you’ve certainly come to the right place!

Top hen weekend activities are what we specialise in at Hangover Weekends. Therefore, when it comes to choosing the very best party games for hen weekends with your favourite ladies, we know a thing or two.

Our hen party games have been tried and tested for all types of hen parties. Whether you’re looking to enjoy some competitive fun, creative challenges or some slightly naughty games to kick things off, we’ve got it all!

The Mr & Mrs Game

A classic game for hen weekends, this one guarantees plenty of laughter. Although it involves some advanced prep, it’s well worth it once you start playing.

Simply gather a list of normal questions as well as some more offbeat and unusual ones to make things exciting. Then, give a copy of the questions to the groom to answer honestly and provide the bride with a copy at the hen party to answer also.

The aim of the game is to compare notes to get a feel of how well they know each other, which could prove interesting! If they’re scoring less than half points, we’d say it might be worth reconsidering this marriage malarkey.

How well do you know the bride?

This one is a long-time favourite of ours when it comes to hen weekends. Not only is it easy to play, it guarantees good vibes and good vibes only.

Split the hens up into teams and make the teams varied, so each group has a good mix of people from different parts of the bride-to-be’s life. Come up with as many questions as you like and provide each hen with a copy of the quiz.

Then, read out each question one by one and prompt everyone to shout out their answers. The winner gets a prize at the end, so make sure there’s a lethal shot waiting!

True or false

So simple but yet so fun! A game of ‘true or false’ gets everyone involved and encourages mingling in the group.

As Maid of Honour, it’s your job to put together some questions, some of which are true and some that are false. Then, it’s up to the bridal party to guess right or wrong.

Never have I ever

Hen weekends aren’t complete without an obligatory game of never have I ever. This is a great way to find out some naughty secrets about the bride and the other hens.

Each guest will tell the group something they have never done using the sentence “Never have I ever…” and anyone who has done the deed has to take a generous sip of whatever they're drinking.
